To Make Money Blogging You Need The Mindset Of A Successful Blogger

You might have heard it a million times. To be successful you must have the mindset of a successful blogger!

It seems obvious… right?

mindset of a successful blogger who makes money onlineWe all know it, but not that many of us are prepared to follow it through. I think it’s so over-looked that I wanted to write a post on the subject.

So what does the minded of a successful blogger look like?

And what separates successful bloggers from non successful bloggers?

The first thing that successful bloggers have is a motivation as to why they are running a blog. Some people might feel that an area of interest to them is not really covered that well online and they want to raise awareness.

It might just be the simple desire to earn more money, which is also fine. You just need to be sure you keep your motivation in mind as you progress through all of the steps.

Without it you lose your goal

The next thing is arguably even more important.

To be a successful blogger you must have discipline.

And when I say discipline I mean you have to stick to your tasks and ensure that you are making progress with your blog on a daily basis.

Hold on… every day, I thought bloggers live on holiday

That doesn’t mean you have to physically work every day, we can set things up so your blog is constantly working even when you’re not.

But you do want to see tangible progress and for me, I like to think about what I can do with my blog even when I’m having downtime.

I do a lot of thinking when I’m in my car, for example. I could be driving to go away for a few days, but I’m always thinking about what I can do next.

This commitment to progress is one element that can really separate the successful blogger from the rest.

As Abraham Lincoln once said: “Commitment is what transforms a promise into reality”

Without commitment something will always be an idea or something out of reach. With it anything can be achieved.

The reason this is so important is because, if your head is in the right mindset it’s much easier for everything else to fall in to place. No blogger has ever failed mid-keystroke. Failure only comes when you stop working.

A common reason to give up is because of the lack of progress being made in the right areas, but a blog can always be improved and worked on. Giving up, ends everything right away and that’s failure.

So starting with a strong internal motivation and follow that through with good habits, discipline and commitment then you will be unstoppable and actually once you start building it, it genuinely becomes fun.

In fact it becomes quite an addictive hobby!

I’m going to show you exactly how I set this blog up. I’m documenting it on video.

Starting without a domain, or hosting. You will watch over my shoulder as I go through each step.

I’m not going to charge you for this. I’m going to be giving my visitors free access to the videos.

But the reality is that no matter how much I give you and how much I show you, it’s only of value to you if you have discipline.
